SUMMARY:Meeting: New affinity community of scientists interested in Translational Neuroscience
DESCRIPTION:

The Translational Neuroscience Center (TNC), Boston Children’s Hospital

	and

	Harvard Brain Science Initiative (HBI)

Please join us as we kick off a new affinity community of scientists interested in Translational Neuroscience. We invite you to participate in the first of an ongoing series of discussions focused on the cellular modeling of neurological disease.

	WHO: academic and industry researchers

WHERE: Warren Alpert Building, Room 236, Harvard Medical School, 200 Longwood Avenue, Boston

Technologies such as iPSCs, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, 3D-culturing are being used in combination with advanced imaging and analysis tools to generate more predictive models of neurological disease. However, limited opportunities for cross-fertilization of best practices across laboratories and institutions prevents the efficient dissemination of optimized protocols in this rapidly evolving field. In order to facilitate such cross-talk, HBI and TNC invite Bostonarea researchers for a monthly discussion of the latest developments in cellular modeling of neurological disease.

	TO REGISTER: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cellular-modeling-of-neurological-disease-discussion-group-inaugural-meeting-tickets-33717565145
