Two former Bertarelli Fellows in Daniel Polley's lab, Charles-Henri Vila and Sandra Romero, both published first author papers in peer-reviewed journals based on their work in the Bertarelli Program. Vila's research was published in the Journal of Neural Engineering: "Optimizing optogenetic stimulation protocols in auditory corticofugal neurons based on closed-loop spike feedback." Romero's paper in Cerebral Cortex discussed her research on "Cellular and Widefield Imaging of Sound Frequency Organization in Primary and Higher Order Fields of the Mouse Auditory Cortex."
